Government of Canada Introduces Temporary Border Restrictions in Response to Ebola Outbreak
Canada announced temporary Ebola-related border measures targeting travelers from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan. Beginning May 27, 2026, immigration documents from residents of these countries will be suspended for 90 days, including previously approved visas and eTAs.
